Tuesday's random questions...
How do babies know that it has been 3 hours and it is now time to eat again? Do they have some sort of internal alarm clock that goes off every 3 hours? They are fine at 2 hours and 59 minutes but when it hits 3 hours the screaming begins. Why do babies ALWAYS poop in clean diapers? Why can't they do all of their business in the dirty diaper that they are wearing rather than mess up the clean diaper that I just put on?

Final Four
Well, three out of my four final four teams actually made it. I didn't pick UCLA...I don't know why, I just hoped that Duke would make it to the Final Four...not because I really like the team, but I really like Coach K. They let me down really early just like my Commodores! Oh well, maybe next year. I really would have liked to see Davidson beat Kansas...it wouldn't have been good for my bracket, but it would have been awesome to see them make it to the Final Four. Anyway, basketball season is almost over...our house will definitely be sad to see the season end but it does mean that summer is just around the corner. We are so ready for warm, sunny days!!
Have you ever...
felt like Julia Roberts must have in Pretty Woman when she went shopping and the store clerks were so rude?? I had never felt like this until yesterday. We had some family in town so I decided that I would take the girls to the new Streets of Indian Lake shopping center. I had been to the movie theater but I hadn't been in any of the stores. The first store that we went in was Cache. Honestly, I had never been in a Cache before so I had no idea what to expect. I should have known when I walked in the door and saw the sign in front of some shirts that said "$68 and up" that this wasn't somewhere I needed to shop. Never the less, we strolled in. We were asked if we were shopping for something specific and when I said that we weren't there was a lot of whispering:) It was definitely an interesting experience especially after the blogs that Susan posted last week about customer service in the same shopping center (at least hers was vindicated). Needless to say, I probably won't be visiting the Cache anymore (not that there was anything in there that I could or would wear anyway).

Common Sense???
You would think that if you wanted to burn some leaves that you wouldn't do it if it were windy outside, right? Not our neighbor!! I looked outside this afternoon to a smoke filled sky. I thought that maybe he was burning leaves in a metal trash can or something, not the case. He had (in his words) "started a small fire (on the ground, not contained in anything) and then the wind blew". Seriously!?!?!? DUH! Sometimes I just don't understand people. Thankfully, he did have enough common sense to call the fire department who spent the next hour putting out the fire (that had moved just behind our property line and was making its way very quickly toward our house). Thank you Cross Plains Fire Department (why the Cross Plains FD?? We live in the White House city limits??) for your quick response to our neighbors ignorance.
